Win Top Prizes at Captain Theo Memorial Golf Tournament
GRAND CAYMAN, 26 January 2016: A brand new 2016 Ford Ecosport or a 2016 Kia could be yours if you manage a hole-in-one at the Captain Theo Bodden Memorial Golf Tournament, taking place at the North Sound Golf Club on Friday February 5, 2016, teeing off at 12:30 pm.
These are just some of the fantastic prizes on offer for those who participate in this popular event, sponsored by Home Gas. Other incredible prizes for hole-in-one winners at various holes around the course include a Krank Golf Formula 5 Driver, Taylormade Clubs and a 4 day/3 night stay at the Lajitas Golf Resort & Spa in Lajitas, Texas.
The tournament accommodates up to 72 players in 18 teams; there are currently just a few team spaces left and there are still a few great opportunities to become a sponsor of a hole, so anyone interested in participating in this exciting event should register without delay.
Now in its fifth year, the Capt. Theo Bodden Memorial Golf Tournament is a crucial fundraising event for Triple C School, allowing them to raise funds for the school’s on-going capital improvements. Proceeds raised at this event will go towards upgrading the school’s air condition units – creating greater efficiency!
“Triple C School is very appreciative to have Home Gas join us as a major sponsor for the third year,” said Mable Richardson, Principal. “The tournament continues to grow each year and we are thankful for all the corporate support we have received through hole sponsorship, teams registrations, or event prizes. It is indeed a blessing to be the beneficiary of a great Friday afternoon, a day of wholesome competition for the community.”
Bodden Holdings, the parent company of Home Gas, has been involved at various sponsorship levels since its inception. The namesake of the tournament and founder of Bodden Holdings, Captain Theo Bodden, was also one of the founders for Triple C School.
Mr Gregg Radley, General Manager of Home Gas, is happy to see the event grow bigger and better each year.
“This year’s event will provide golfers with several hole-in-one competitions with incredible prizes to be won at each hole. Home Gas is very pleased to support such an exciting event that will no doubt attract many golfers and would-be golfers from across the island,” he said.
Entry fees are CI$600 for a team of four or CI$150 per individual. Entry fees allow participants to compete for prizes in the hole-in-one competition, the closest to the pin contest and the longest drive contest. The tournament is a four-person scramble accommodating up to 72 players in 18 teams; the tournament is open to the public and all are encouraged to enter. Companies and individuals are encouraged to sponsor holes with two types of sponsorship packages available: premium holes (i.e. numbers 1,9,10 and 18) cost CI$350 and the remaining standard holes cost CI$250.
